Utaritari 2025

イメージ

Scheduled to be held at Akanko Ainu Kotan on January 18th and 19th!

We are planning to hold the Ainu culture festival "Utaritari" in order to let as many people as possible know about Ainu culture through experiencing Ainu culture.

"U" means "each other" in the Ainu language, "utari" means "friend", and "tari tari" means "to shake something up and down." The name of the festival was ``Utaritari'', which is a combination of these words.

"Utaritari" includes Ainu music, traditional dance, food, and cultural experiences at venues such as Lake Akan Ainu Kotan, in order to convey the charm of Ainu culture of Lake Akan, which has coexisted with nature.

We will also invite guest artists to take on the challenge of creating new expressions of Ainu culture.
